Largest Remaining Site In Perth Set For Tower

The largest plot of land left in Perth's Central Business District, Capital Square, will soon become home to the largest development ever to be undertaken in the Australian city.

Designed by architects, Crone and Partners, the development will see three towers built, two standing at a height of 160 metres which will be located on Spring Street and on the corner of Spring and Mount street, the third located on corner of Mounts Bay and Spring will stand at 150 metres.

The multi use towers are somewhat boxy in design with white facades which when stood together appear to form a wall the fact the towers stand on curvaceous podiums linked with the expansive public plaza below lends a contempory feel to the project rather than it being a just another bland space filler.

Balconies which will be accessible via sliding doors to provide a seamless flow between the luxury apartment interiors and the outdoors feature heavily, which is hardly surprising with the weather in the country and the excellent views the towers will offer. Developers Saville Australia plan for the project to become the benchmark for future developments not only in Perth but in the rest of the country.

The towers will house luxury apartments with 1-3 bedrooms as well as penthouses, office space as well as retail spaces. Facilities for residents will include heated pools, cinema, spa and gymnasium, sauna as well as a large function room which will be available for hire for private functions and a stylish lobby with concierge services.

A huge public plaza at the base of the towers which will have circular water features inspired by the natural spring which flows under the site will offer not only prime recreational space but restaurants and cafes and more shopping opportunities. The towers West End location means residents, workers and visitors will be in easy distance to make use of the various entertainments the West End has to offer.
